Subject: Peru 2013 – Arrival & Newsletter!
Hi everyone,
After 24 hours of travel, two stopovers, and a long, tiring night at the Lima airport before our final flight in the morning of May 15th, we arrived safely with all our luggage to Cusco, Peru!!! Many of us found ourselves holding our breaths and silently praying while at customs, until the officer stamped our passports with the temporary visitor visas. Who could have expected that getting into a country would be such a feat and miracle in itself?!

Subject: Nigeria & Peru 2013: Our God protects!
As for today, it was a blessed day of rest, sharing and debriefing time as our team caught up on each group’s experiences.
As my leader commented, these workshops would not be happening if we had not been planning to go to Nigeria. It is also highly likely that these workshops would not have happened if we HAD gone to Nigeria, because of the violence that took place – there is no way we would have been able to stay in that situation, regardless of whether or not we would have actually been hurt or in danger by the attacks. God is sovereign.
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all the generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
