Pastor Luke Cheng comes from Chengdu, Sichuan in southwestern China (home of the giant panda). After graduate school, he worked in research and taught at the university. Then he immigrated to Canada and became a Christian, and was called by the Lord to be equipped at Toronto Baptist Seminary to complete his Master of Divinity degree and serve in full-time ministry.
He began to serve the Mandarin Congregation at ETCBC in August 2015. Pastor Luke is married to Judy, and they have two children, Jonathan and Jefferson. Besides travelling and swimming, Pastor Luke also enjoys listening to oldies music in his spare time.
